What it is: AHK-Cu is a synthetic copper complex pairing the tripeptide L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine with copper(II), structurally distinct from GHK-Cu and specifically optimized for dermal papilla cell stimulation.

How it works: AHK-Cu upregulates Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) and basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF) in dermal papilla cells while suppressing TGF-beta-induced follicle miniaturization, stimulating hair follicle elongation and dermal capillary density.
